Designation : IGP Pays d'Oc
Grape varieties : 100% SHIRAZ
Origin : Vin de Pays d'Oc vineyards, southern France, in
Languedoc-Roussillon.
Vinification : The grapes are harvested when ripe, destemmed,
crushed and then fermented for 6 to 12 hours at a
controlled temperature (about 30° C) and pressed gently.
The wine is matured in stainless steel tanks to conserve
the rich aromas.
Soil : Sandy, clay-chalky and schistous soils.
Country origin : FRANCE
Sensory characteristic :
Colour :
Clear, very intense, almost black, garnet red with purple
lights.
Nose :
Red fruits (cherries, blackcurrants) , with notes of pepper
and spices.
Palate :
Fine tannic body, with notes of pepper, liquorice, fine
persitence and long taste.
Recommendations : Red wine that can be served with a large number of
dishes : red meat, cold meat, salad and many types of
cheese.
Serving condition in C° : To be served between 16 - 18°C
Alcohol content : 14.5
Cellar potential : 2 to 3 years.
